Meet TANIA - Head of our decorating team

"I have worked with paint for 25 years and everyday I am inspired by colours and change. I love to help people create their own sense of style. Decorating is a very personal experience. Changing your environment can be a big deal but with our dynamic and enthusiastic approach I feel we make it a pleasant experience.

I trained in Italy where I learned so much about the subtleties of colour. This Spring/Summer I hope to introduce a range of decorative finishes inspired by the paint effects I studied there.

I take great care in what I do. As far as I am concerned everything matters and I want our clients to really feel that we have done an outstanding work!

Farrow and Ball is going Eco Friendly

One of our main paint supplier is going green. What does it mean?

It means that the paint contains low, minimal or zero* VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)
VOCs are present in many household products. In paint the VOCs are solvents, such as white spirit, which evaporate into the atmosphere while paint is drying. These VOCs pollute the environment and potentially have a detrimental effect on health.

Top Tip of the month - When choosing paint colours

When you get a sample pot of paint home don't start painting your walls with it!

Amy here loves this Tip: Paint a large piece of paper with your sample pot and a clean paint brush - an A3 sheet size is good . Put two coats on, let it dry and here you are, you will have a sample of your paint that you can move around your room, checking the paint under different light and no big marks of paint all over your walls!
